ADULT EDUCATION

Be TRANSFORMED BY THE WORD:
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God - what is good and acceptable and perfect.  Romans 12:2.

Transformed by the Word classes are Bible based studies to enrich understanding of God's word for daily life.  The studies will be led predominantly by one of our pastors.  Classes will meet in the Sanctuary on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. or Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m.  The same class is taught on both Sunday morning and then on the following Thursday evening.  Free child care is provided for both classes.  Questions?  Please contact Pastor Linda at ljvaneaton@comcast.net or 439-5704, ext. 18.

Transformed by the Word – Sunday Morning Adult Education for Spring 2008

Adult education will continue to run from March 30th – May 4th on Sundays only throughout the spring, beginning at 9:15 in the Sanctuary. The Rev. Dr. David Preus will be joining us on March 30th and speaking on the topic “Who Are We? How the Lutheran Church has changed throughout the years.” In the following weeks our topic will be “Who Are Our Neighbors: Looking Beyond Ourselves.” We will hopefully become even clearer about who we are by defining who we are not. We will have speakers from various other faith traditions educating us about their belief systems and how they live out their faith. Planned speakers include:
