In the event of an emergency it would be difficult for one person or even a few people to check on all our church members. Our hope is that by people getting to know their neighbors, which is beneficial even without an emergency, we will be able to help check on each other. Each member should have received a list of congregational members who live near them. Our hope is that people will get to know those who are on their list, that the list may be able to be used as a possible phone tree in an emergency, and that we may be able to mobilize various neighborhoods to help serve other neighborhoods that might be affected by the disaster.
