Lay Ministry

“To prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in faith and in the knowledge of the son of God and become mature attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”
- Ephesians 4:12

Dear Friends in Christ,

Welcome! We are blessed to have you as a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.
We truly want you to feel that you are a part of our community. You have joined OSLC for a multitude of reasons. You may have joined because of our growing and loving Children’s Ministry, our energized Youth Ministry Program, our spirit lead Music & Worship Team, because of the hospitality of our Care Ministry Team at the Welcome Desk or from a warm smile by one of our Greeter’s at the doors on Sunday morning, you may have joined because of our genuine Pastoral Ministry Team, a friendly member said, “hello” and made you feel welcome, or maybe it just feels like you’re finally home! Whatever your reasons were we are glad that you’re here. You may have been active in a previous congregation or you may be new to the church community. We invite you to share your God-Given gifts and talents with the members of OSLC. We are always looking for people to join our ministry teams. We can’t wait to see how your gifts will benefit all the members of OSLC!

God has designed each of us with a special gift. Our purpose in this life is to seek our special gifts and share them with others as God continually shares blessings with all of us. At OSLC we like to see people “Sharing God’s Presence.” The best way to fit in is to jump in! It’s a great way to meet new people and to learn and participate in the OSLC community. This is YOUR Church and we invite you to participate as you are able.

Amidst God's Presence,

Cheryl Schindler
