StewardshipA Time to Share Stewardship. What an odd word! Literally, it means “warden of the pig sty!” For us, it means that Christians are “caretakers” of the time, talents and possessions that God has given. In other words, God intends for us to share them.
FinancialFor many, this is the only thing that comes to mind when considering what they might give to ministry. Your weekly offerings assist us in providing ministry to our members, our community, and the world. It is a private issue between you and God, but the need for financial support is very real, and we are grateful for every gift, large or small. If you are a visitor, but would like offering envelopes, please speak with our accountant at (651) 439-5704.
TalentDid you know that you have unique gifts and abilities that can be put to use in the Kingdom of God, both within and beyond the church? Your singing voice, your ability to be a leader, your love for children, your ability to connect with teens, your spirit of hospitality. All of these skills are necessary for any faith community to thrive. If you've never identified your special talents, perhaps you'd want to take the "Strengthfinders" inventory! Speak with Pastor Linda.
TimeWhat is your most valuable commodity? Money? Possessions? In today's economy, many would say "Time. My time is what is most valuable to me." Giving time voluntarily to the church would be a great sacrifice, but will bring you in to relationship with some interesting and amazing people, fellow members of your church.
