Worship at Our Savior's
In a vibrant and diverse congregation such as ours, a variety of worship services are preferred.
During the school year, our Sunday worship times and styles are as follows:
8:00 AM Classic Worship, Liturgy & Hymns in the Sanctuary
9:15 AM Liturgy with Old & New Hymns in the CLC
10:30 AM BRAND NEW Alternating Contemporary Services in the CLC (Details on New Contemporary Services)
During the Summer months, the order changes slightly:
Communion Sundays:
8:00 AM Holy Communion in the Sanctuary
9:30 AM Holy Communion in the CLC
Non-Communion Sundays:
8:00 AM Classic Worship, Liturgy & Hymns in the Sanctuary
9:30 AM Contemporary Service in the CLC
New this Fall at 10:30!
The Edge worship on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. Bob Evanoff is our worship leader and his band will draw us close to God with worship music from praise, to contempletive, to great old hymns in a fresh new tempo.
The Crossing will feature Tessa Boettner as our worship leader (perhaps you've heard her sing the national anthem at Gophers, Twins and Timberwolves games?) on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays. The music will be upbeat contemporary with piano accompaniment.
At 10:30, families will gather for worship, and after the first 15 minutes, children will be dismissed for Faith Formation classes.
Worship Is Family Friendly!
Children's worship bags are available at the doors to the worship areas. The striped bags are for birth to two, the denim bags for ages three and four and the cream bags for children five and older. A children's message, “Kid Talk,” is provided during the service; kids are invited to come up front for this part of the service. Child care is available for children 5 years and younger if needed. Families may also watch the 9:15 or 10:30 service on TV while walking or sitting with a child in the Gathering Area.
